How Dental Bridges Can Restore Your Smile

Roderick A. Garcia DMD Albuquerque Cosmetic and Family dentist has provided exceptional care for his patients since 1983. Dr. Garcia provides a full range of dental procedures including dental bridges.
Dental Bridges are dental restorations used to replace one or more missing teeth in a fixed way (not removable) when implants cannot be done or when the patient elects not to do implants. Dental bridges will also keep a patients bite from shifting by maintaining the missing tooth space.
Dental bridges are made of solid zirconia, zirconia with porcelain fused to it or porcelain fused to metal (gold and silver) or solid gold.
If the replaced teeth are in the front of the mouth, porcelain will be fused to zirconia or metal depending on the bridge span for excellent cosmetic results. If the teeth are missing posteriorly ( in the back of the mouth) a solid zirconia, porcelain fused to metal, or solid gold bridge will be placed.
