Cosmetic Crowns Can Restore Your Teeth

Dr. Garcia provides his patients with a full range of dental procedures in a modern professional atmosphere. Included in these procedures are Cosmetic Crowns.
Cosmetic Dental Crowns are restorations that cover teeth that have been decayed or broken beyond the point where a filling can resolve the dental issue. Cosmetic Crowns may also be used to close gaps between teeth, correct rotated or malaligned teeth in place of orthodontics. Cosmetic Crown teeth are prepared ( reduced in size ), an impression of the tooth or teeth is made and sent to a dental lab to fabricate the final crown or crowns which will take 10 to 14 days. A temporary crown or crowns will be made and placed immediately over the teeth that have been prepared. The Cosmetic Crowns will not only provide strength for the tooth or teeth but will also be designed to match the current shape and color of the adjacent teeth or if several teeth are being done at the same time, a new shade and shape may be selected by the patient to enhance the smile. Cosmetic Crowns are made of ceramic material with porcelain and cemented or bonded to the underlying tooth. Cosmetic Crowns properly designed, made, and cared for can last 10 to 15 years or longer.
