Dental Bonding in Albuquerque

Bonding

Dr. Roderick Garcia is a cosmetic and family dentist practicing in Albuquerque, N.M. Dr. Garcia has been in private practice for over 30 years. In his dental practice, Roderick Garcia DMD provides a full range of dental procedures including dental bonding.

Dental Bonding is a cosmetic dental procedure that allows the cosmetic dentist to cover tooth stains, chipped teeth, misshaped teeth, malaligned teeth, and dark-colored teeth with a tooth-colored material called composite. The composite material is applied directly to the tooth surface, shaped, and contoured to create a natural-looking tooth/teeth and smile. The dental bonding procedure can be done on one or more teeth and is usually done without any local anesthetic. Spaces and gaps between teeth is another option for the use of dental bonding. Re-creating the appropriate tooth size and shape while closing those gaps is a conservative, minimally invasive option to get a beautiful smile.

Dental bonding is reversible and easily maintained through regular dental check-ups. If a bonded tooth is chipped, bonding material can be added quickly to repair or restore it.
