Things You Can Do at Our Dental Office

Dental OfficeIn our dental office, we treat both children and adults.  We understand that life can be busy, so we try to make visiting the dentist as convenient as possible by offering flexible appointment times and treating parents and kids at the same time when possible.  This makes it easy for everyone in the family to have their teeth cleaned, cavities treated and oral health problems addressed.

Many people think that when you visit the dentist, the only thing, you can do, is to have your teeth cleaned.  This could not be further from the truth.  We do offer teeth cleanings as they are in important part of oral health, but you can accomplish far more with a trip to the dentist, including:

  • Whiten your teeth.  If you are tired of your teeth looking yellow, dull, old or stained, visit our dental office for a professional teeth whitening.  While you can us a kit from the store, the results will not be as dramatic so your teeth may still appear stained.  A professional whitening can whiten your teeth by eight shades or more while improving your overall appearance.
  • Restore damaged teeth.  If you have cracked a tooth or chipped it, you don’t have to be stuck with a damaged tooth.  Regardless of whether the injury took place as the result of a car wreck, sports injury or household accident, we can restore your tooth using a variety of procedures.  Some common solutions include dental veneers, dental crowns, and bonding.
  • Replace old crowns.  If you received an old metal crown and are tired of how your teeth look when you open your mouth, we can replace them.  Crowns can now be made in all-ceramic or ceramic-on-metal so that you don’t have the appearance of a “metal mouth” when you speak or smile.
  • Close gaps in your teeth.  Many people think that you can only close gaps with the use of braces.  While orthodontics is incredibly effective, they are not the only solution.  Many of our patients don’t want to wear braces for months or years and would prefer a faster solution.  We can use both dental veneers and dental crowns to close gaps in between teeth.
  • Remove wisdom teeth.  If your wisdom teeth have come in and are bothering you or pushing your teeth forward, we can remove them while keeping you comfortable by using sedation dentistry.  Some people need this for health reasons, and we are happy to handle the procedure.
  • Replace a missing tooth.  If you have had a tooth fall out due to poor health or an accident, we can replace it.  You can wear a denture which is a removable appliance; we can replace it with a dental implant that is installed surgically or a dental bridge which is another permanent solution that does not require surgery.
In our dental office, we can help you by addressing all of your oral health issues.  We can help your smile to look bright and beautiful while also being fully functional.  For help with your oral health, give us a call.
